Republic Insurance PLC was incorporated on 18^th May, 2000. The company was listed in both Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC and Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC in 2008 under the Company Act, 1994. The company maintains high compliance with the regulations of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).

Our company has achieved rating ‘AA+’ in the long term and rating ‘ST-1’ in the short term, signifies a very strong capacity to meet its financial obligations and a low risk of default, rated by Alpha Credit Rating Limited (Alpha Rating).

For the year ended December 31, 2024, the company's paid-up capital is BDT 52.10 crore. The company earned gross and net premium income BDT 88.76 crore and BDT 53.34 crore respectively. The total asset amounts to BDT 176.88 crore with an up-ward trend at 6.88%. A cash dividend of 6% and 5% stock dividend was distributed to valued shareholders. We have Re-insurance Treaty Agreement with the Sadharan Bima Corporation with favorable terms and conditions including Facultative Arrangement. Hence, we are capable enough to accept risk and underwrite general insurance business for any amount.
